Wow, i can't beleive its been almost a year since i've been here. I got so caught up in other things that i totally lost interest in this. Coaching girls basketball, tutoring, and coaching boys baseball just killed me. But the good news is i'm back and better than ever!!

Day 5 - product creation

Ok I am on day 5 of my product creation journal. So far i've spent about $390 bucks getting the website, hosting the website, and purchasing aweber for my emails. I've been trying to upload some pages to my host, but unable to do it successfully. Getting kind of frustrating because my ftp either isn't working or i have something configured wrong. I also spent the last two days looking for icons and researching graphics. I ended up making a small purchase but i think it will be worth it. Other things I will need are banners and stuff like that. Hopefully can find something online or someone to help me with that.

This site has helped me out tremendously and if it wasn't for them i wouldn't be creating this product right now! The forums are awesome. Starting a new product

For those that have started following my blog. I am beginning a new product this week. I'm excited to be pumping it out and have started creating a journal on the number of hours i am spending and how much money it will be bringing in. Bored at a part-time job that needs replaced!!

Wow today has just sucked. Right now i'm sitting at a part-time job that I hate. Ready to quit this anyday now! Soon i'll be raking in the money through my bum marketing articles and with wealthy affiliate university. I already have something like 13 or 14 articles out there, just have to make more. My website is doing ok but not really getting that much traffic. I think the better my articles are the more people will read them and click through. Hopefully!!

Anyways, i've been really happy with wealthy affiliate and their programs. The forum is just awesome. I'll lose hours during the day just reading about people's success stories and what worked for them. I'm amazed at how many want to share their stories. I've been there for two months now and feel it was well worth the money. On my website i also did a review of wealthy affiliate and a couple other programs that are kind of similar to each other. I also have a page that talks and explains what bum marketing is. It deals with a program called "Conversations with Travis". Well i think i finally changed teams to the bengals, haha. The browns are just so frustrating to watch. Even though they did make it a game yesterday, just hard to watch. I was a huge brady quinn fan but i'm just not there anymore. He's in my pryor category now. Just can't win big games. Pryor and brady will never lead the teams to the promise land. Derrick anderson actually looked pretty good throwing the ball. I still dont like how he stares down recievers but whatever, at least he's passing the ball and getting td's. First td that mattered in like 15 games. Nice! ok enough bashing, im on the bengals bandwagon since i have palmer and ocho cinco on my fantasy team! But i'll be rooting for both next week, haha go browns, bengals, buckeyes!

Golf - How to hit the golf ball straight

If you know anything about me then you know that I'm addicted to golf. I'm assuming that many of you really have no clue who I am, haha so for that I tell you --- I'm addicted to golf! I dont really know what it is, but I can't get enough of it. I think it might be because i've started getting better. Or maybe its because the competition is me vs. myself. I'm always trying to get the lowest score or crave that awesome shot. Whichever it is, I just know I like it.

The past few years I really haven't been that good. This year i've started to turn it around and owe it to one major thing. This is The Simple Swing. I downloaded this program at the beginning of the golf year and i've had a lot of positive results. For example i've had my first hole-in-one! Which was exciting, even though I lost the ball on the next hole, haha oh well! I've learned to hit knock down shots, improve my putting, hit out of the sand, learn a routine, and i've learned a little bit about the mental aspect. All these are within The Simple Swing program. Hello, hello, hello. Well i made a few more articles today that are geared towards stay at home dads and finding jobs. This comes with some bitterness seeing how my browns got their ass whooped yesterday, haha but we don't have to talk about that. Ok dads at home listen up!! Browns - Buckeyes homer

Ok today im just sitting around and watching football. At least until i have to work at 630 yuck! Hopefully my ohio teams can pull out the double victory today. I'm a huge browns fan and buckeyes fan....even though im not high on pryor.
The buckeyes looked dominant against the "fighting" illini yesterday even though there wasn't much fight in them. The "d" seems to be what always carries the buckeyes and this year will be no different. It seems like the USC loss wont hurt as bad as i originaly thought because alot of the unbeatens are getting beat. Just last night 4 top ten teams went down. Well 3 because ole miss lost thursday, but still, this week. I'm guessing the bucks will jump back into the top ten as well as USC. Also looking for michigan to make a pretty big jump and south florida should be cracking top 15. Ok enough of college football, haha
The brownies have a huge matchup this week against the ravens. Ohhhh hate the ravens, not as bad as the steelers or cowboys, but right up there. Hopefully Quinn doesn't look to bad today but i dont expect much. I do like the defense, so we'll see how they play today. The game i'd love to watch is San Fran vs. Vikings and of course its not on tv here. go figure.
Once i get to work it will be hard to follow my fantasy guys. Which always sucks. Will be nice once i get some sales and promotions with my work at home thing. Then i'll be my own boss, work my own hours, and do what i want! Exciting huh! Then in the fall once football season starts (next year)i'll have the extra money to get the football network with all the games!! Sweet!!

been awhile

Wow its been awhile since i've last posted. I've been busy working on a barn roof which just took forever!!! But finally got it done and now back to the computer to make some articles and stuff. My affiliate site Wealthy Affiliates just launched a new program called "Platinum" I haven't even got to check it out yet but kinda eager to get on and see what its about. I know i liked their old system and sooooo many of the members are willing to help you out. I can just imagine that this new layout will be even cooler and will get even more people involved. I'm excited to get on and make some money now too. I think i have the hang of it, just gotta get going!

I forgot to mention the affiliate network i ended up joining. After researching and researching and more researching i went with Wealthy Affiliates. It seems to be really good for the beginning internet marketer. They have a really nice forum where you can learn and pick up on some techniques that have worked for other marketers. They have an 8-week plan which gives you the step by step on the process of promoting. All and all it seems like a pretty good thing and hopefully it works out. I'm not banking on it, haha but a little extra dough is nice.

First week of marketing

Hi everyone and welcome to my blog. This is my first post so i might as well introduce myself. My name is Jeff and i'm in Ohio. I recently just joined an affiliate site to begin my internet marketing career. So far i'm trying to learn everything i can about internet marketing and hope that it works out.
Up to this point i've been reading, reading, and more reading. I wasn't sure what internet marketing was at first but now i have a pretty good idea. Basically, I get paid to promote or advertise different products, services, or websites. Each time someone clicks through or buys a product, I get a little bit of commission or a set amount per sale. I think thats pretty cool and gives me the oppurtunity to earn some extra cash. Especially now that some of my college loans are coming due!
Well just wanted to keep this first post short, i'll be writing more!
